Process Capabilities

Jingxin Precision runs a complete in-house mold workshop and injection molding plant. We support prototype bridge tooling and mass-production hard molds. Our injection machines range from 60-ton to 800-ton clamping force, supporting single-cavity and multi-cavity molds. Advanced processes such as insert molding, overmolding and two-shot molding are available. Complex geometries, snap-fits, threads and deep undercut features can be mass-produced with stable repeatability.

Process Selection Guide

When to Choose Injection Molding?

Choose Injection Molding when you need:

High-volume plastic part production above 1000 units.

Frozen, finalized design with no frequent design revisions.

Low per-unit cost, excellent repeatability and stable mass-production quality.

Mass production of complex features: snap fits, living hinges, threads and integrated undercuts.

Consider CNC Machining when your parts:

Small quantity (1-500 pcs), need real solid engineering plastic / metal, fast turnaround without tool investment.

Consider Vacuum Casting when your parts:

10-50 cosmetic samples, short lead-time before mold completion.

Consider 3D Printing when your parts:

Very low quantity (1-5 units), highly complex internal geometry, design still under iteration.

Injection Molding Design Guidelines

Optimize your design for better moldability, fewer defects and lower tooling cost:

Minimum Wall Thickness: Recommended 1.5-3 mm; avoid wall thinner than 0.8 mm. Keep wall thickness variation within 25%.

Rib Design: Rib thickness shall be 50-60% of adjacent main wall thickness to prevent sink marks.

Internal Corners: Minimum inner radius R0.5 mm; sharp internal corners cause stress concentration.

Draft Angle: Minimum draft angle 0.5°-1°, higher for textured surfaces to avoid drag-marks.

Hole Features: Maintain sufficient wall thickness around holes; avoid overly thin piercing pins.

Undercuts: External or internal undercuts require sliders or lifters inside mold, increasing tool complexity and cost.

Avoid Massive Thick Sections: Hollow out thick areas to reduce cooling time and shrinkage-related defects.
